5 out of 5 stars Great VHS Video   October 10, 2007

I recently bought some oak bookcases and needed to stain them blue (don't ask :) ). I ordered this video and was surprised when I received a VHS tape. I initially thought that the order had been messed up. Looking over the Amazon page I noticed that it did not state whether this video was in DVD or VHS format, only that it is a video.

I was able to dig up an old VHS player and watch the video. The video is an excellent introduction to coloring wood. It touches on color theory, using stains versus dyes, preparing different types of wood to be colored, and even goes into chemical treatments.

I would highly recommend this video with the caveat that this is a VHS tape and not a DVD.
